Hello there! My name is Tami Donaldson.
I was born and raised in Florida. Yes! There are some "real Floridians" out there. I loved growing up in Hollywood, Florida with the beautiful beaches and gorgeous weather year round. This is where I have lived up until 2005, when I moved to Los Angeles, CA. But, I'll always be an East Coast girl at heart. I began modeling when I was 15 years old, when a modeling scout approached my father and I in a shopping mall. I took a break from modeling to get my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University and after college I was a 3rd grade teacher for a year, until I went back
to the entertainment industry.
 
   
I have traveled to many countries including; Canada, Thailand, China, France, India, Italy, England, Czech Republic and many tropical paradises. I feel so fortunate to have experienced so many wonderful
things during my modeling career. In 2005, I thought it was time for me to get a "real job." I was getting out of the modeling industry to try my hand in Florida real estate (just like everyone else), when I won first place in Maxim Magazine's Hometown Hottie contest. Winning this well known contest has opened so many doors for my career and needless to say, was a very pleasant surprise. So, I figured I might as well take advantage of the opportunities while I still can. Real estate and teaching will always be there! 2006 was also a very exciting year for me. To my pleasant surprise, I was named in MAXIM's HOT 100 list, as number 89. I am truly flattered to be part of such a well known list of beautiful women. I was also named Miss Maxim USA in 2007.

 

After living in LA for 4 years, I was ready to go back to the east coast. Now, that I'm back in South Florida when I'm not modeling I sell cars! haha Yes, I'm a car salesman. Let's make a deal! In my free time I enjoy working out, rollerblading, going to the beach, shopping, and traveling to new places but while home I love spending time with my 2 babies, Gucci & Louie my Pomeranian and Chihuahua. I'm so grateful to be blessed with such a wonderful family. They are all so important to me, my biggest fans. They have always been my rock. Don't know what I would do without my mother, my hero! Love u Mom!!!

I also enjoy reading the Bible,  keeps me grounded and reminds me of the important things in life. I thank God everyday for blessing me and I want to live my life to please him and influence others to know the Lord. On Sundays, I teach Sunday School to 2nd and 3rd grade girls at my church in South Florida. It's such an uplifting and amazing opportunity and I think I actually learn more than the children. Just one way I can give back and thank God for all he has blessed me with.

 

I began making many changes in my life after reading, The Purpose Driven Life"  by Rick Warren. This book is life changing!

God has put me in a postion where I can share my faith and tell nonbelievers about the wonderful changes Jesus Christ has made in my life. No matter what our maturity level in the Christian life, we have something to offer. Too often, we believe the lie from Satan that we don't really know enough or haven't been a Christian long enough to make a difference. Not true! Some of the most enthusiastic representatives of the Christian life are new believers who have just discovered the awesome love of God. They may not know a lot of Bible verses or the "accepted" way of saying things, but they have experienced the love of the living God, and that is exactly what I want to share.
